I want to know what song you heard by a band that just hearing it the first time got you into them instantly.
Metallica-----Hit The Lights-------I heard this song on a Metal radio show and just had to have this.
Iron Maiden----The Number of the Beast------First real metal band I listened to, got that album before even hearing it and put the title track on and from the opening Voice I knew METAL was for me!!!
Dream Theater-----Pull Me Under-------Hearing the opening riffs on this song just hooked me on DT right away and the musicianship in this band never gets boring.
Anvil----------Metal On Metal-----------A Metal anthem if there ever was one. Canadian metal legends and since I am Canadian had to love it and Metal On Metal just defines my music tastes.
Mercyful Fate-----The Oath-----From the opening eerie into to the high pitched vocal stylings of King Diamond this was a godsend. (no pun intended)
----So that is just a few of very many I could of listed so lets hear some of yours.
